I'm a software engineer at Splitwise.
My professional experience.
I'm a backend engineer working on all parts of our server.
I worked with product security experts to create new vulnerability-catching features for our static analysis system. I also created a service for on-demand malware analysis for Android APKs.
Designed, implemented, tested, and established permanent monitoring for infrastructure feature to save storage and network bandwidth. Primarily implemented in C++.
Afterwards, spearheaded a second research-based project related to storage and network savings, involving members from several teams.
I developed new features of OpenZFS, including per-vdev ZAPs.
I was responsible for all software engineering operations, including API design, database design and management, security, and system design, as well as coding.
I collaborated with other TAs on developing course material, teaching students during office hours, and evaluating assignments for An Integrated Introduction to Computer Science (CSCI0170), Introduction to Discrete Structures and Probability (CSCI0220), Introduction to Computer Systems (CSCI0330), and more.
